Laurie Nielsen

Laurie has been training with Tatiana Stepanova since she was 10. At 13, she won the silver medal at the Youth America Grand Prix in Chicago. Laurie was a scholarship recipient of the
Bolshoi Ballet Summer Intensive in the US for 4 consecutive years. She was invited to join the full-time study program at the prestigious Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia.

At 15, Laurie premiered in her first full length ballet as Swanilda in Coppelia. She has also danced as Clara and Sugar Plum Fairy Pas de Deux in Nutcracker, Lise in La Fille Mal Gardee, The Fairy Doll, variations from Giselle, Talisman, Don Quixote and Tarantella from ballet Anuta.
